Site Update: 2-29-2024 Ancient Mounds Appreciation Guide

We have been studying ancient, indigenous mounds along the Atlantic coast intently for a number of years, and encountered one at the “birthplace of speed“ that is scarcely published. More research and information is necessary before reporting. However, our recent observation has revealed the presence of an ancient monument that is being described as a dune (upper right corner of image below). We have previously published an article about Nana Dune, the largest dune at Florida territory, and we find that this so-called dune merits recognition. We encourage you to do your own due-diligence and share your findings, Peace

Who are the Great Mound Builders and what are Ancient Mounds?

"The Great Mound Builders have created some of the most ancient structures known on earth, as many of the Ancient Mounds and Earthworks on the American Continent are documented to be older than the Pyramids of Giza and other esteemed monuments throughout the world. Ancient Mounds are from a time immemorial with monuments reaching deeper into humanity's foundational past than any other structure crafted by human engineering, still observable today."

Traveling about our Nation's land and waterways, Lillie and I often direct our Journeys of Appreciation on Aboriginal honoring sites in the Moorish Dominions, particularly Ancient Mounds. Sacred places where our beloved Ancestors lived and prospered since "time" unknown. It is thrilling for us to feel the rise of the land under our feet and in our bodies as we exert our muscles deeper to climb. As we journey, we reacquaint ourselves with our divine Matrilineal energy, heritage and legacy. Our steps are further enriched by light glistening off clean water, seasonal chilled breezes, warm sun rays, melodious bird songs; and vibrant fragrances. At times mounds can be so large that one might not even notice them beneath canopies of mature trees. Entire islands have been formed by the Mound Builders in the development of mounds and extensive mound centers.

Just to approach a large American Mound is uplifting and much more than its rise above the floodplain. I find it challenging to describe the subtle yet palpable energy emanating from these ancient structures. Many say it is because of the ley-lines or ancient pathways they rest upon; others speak of the magnetic/electrical charges resonating above and below mounds due to water and air currents upon minerally rich rocks and earth. Either way—I highly suggest one depend on their own experiences for greater insight.

Mounds were crafted in various forms, from pyramid and platform shapes, effigy and conical, for reasons we are still learning. We know that mounds were created with careful human ingenuity based on advanced astrological, mathematical concepts and practices, along with detailed planning, utilizing natural resources like earth, rock, sand and shell; and that they were built to enhance the lives and sound joining of “families”, clans and tribes into a noble civilization and great Nation.

Said to be the most southwestern area noted for the Mississippi People in “Alto “Texas”. The river located nearby is called the “Neches” River and it is teaming with native fish, birds and plants. The housing structures created on site are an idea of what was utilized. Coralbean or “Cherokee” bean was also witnessed in the Territory as with the Northwestern “Florida” sites we traveled to southeast of Tallahassee near the Wakulla Springs and River.

We know Ancient Mounds are quite often located over subterraneous rivers and limestone aquifers, with surfaces carved and charged by the constant movement of water within and below The American Empire. They are positioned near prominent waterways (streams, creeks, lakes and rivers) and other rich resources contained in coastal hammocks and hardwood forests with abundant trees, shrubs and plants. Migrating birds plentiful in the sky, bountiful species of teeming fish, roaming animals and reptiles, all flourish in the natural environment.

It is notable that Ancient Mounds and Earthworks were also built atop high bluffs, ridges and ranges. They were aligned with precision as a calendar or clock to the pathways of celestial bodies and their corresponding events in order to accurately foresee seasonal changes and weather patterns. The movement of stars along with celestial events like solstices and eclipses of the sun and moon, are readily viewable from mound-tops as people still gather today, to witness and share these experiences.

This impressive scene was captured during an extraordinary celestial event in North America. Just off the Santee River, “South Carolina”, hundreds of good people gathered to this great mound (which is said to be of the Mississippian Culture) to view the total solar eclipse. We were fortunate to capture and document this event atop the mound peak. Totality approached, the people cheered as the bright sky turned to dusk, and after only a few minutes—bright again!

Mound sites present the legacy of how civilization was formed—how First Nation People gathered together in great populations and shared the bounty of their divinely gifted resources and unified achievements. These Indigenous Mound Builders established a paradigm for civilization, for humanity; and their courageous efforts and results have been emulated throughout the world. Utilizing rivers and tributaries that traverse through vast fertile environments to ease transportation, trade networks spanning thousands of miles were established across the continent to source various minerals and materials. They shared abundant, healing plant crops, clothing, shells, chert, mica, obsidian, pearls and precious metals and stones. Collectively mining iron, copper, silver and gold, resources needed for the manufacturing of glorious goods. Communities and large cities were developed with astronomically aligned earthen embankments, orchards, gardens, markets and plazas. Splendid artwork, ornamental pottery and jewelry, ancient tools, carved stone tablets, and sacred scrolls with elaborate glyphs and pictographs have been sequestered from Indigenous Descendants. Remedy is of the utmost importance!

Scores of artifacts from mounds and surrounding Territories have been pillaged and sold; and though regrettably, innumerable mounds were ruined by wanton destruction or used as fill for the infrastructure of railroads, roads and agricultural endeavors, we are thankful that many still remain throughout the American Continent. For the kind support, care and maintenance from people dedicated to preserving and sharing honest information about these honored, ancient locations, our gratitude is immense.

It is now unlawful to disturb and collect artifacts from these sacred sites so that we can preserve and protect our heritage for future generations. These mounds are exceedingly ancient and precious. They were created at a “time” unknown, though frequently speculated upon, along with the building methods utilized to form them. The Mound Builders are the Maternal and Paternal essences of this American Continent and beyond. They prepared and formatted the sacred agreements, Treatises, and Constitutional thinking that we collectively have the opportunity to experience now. Our concerted effort is required. We are the deity of our destiny. We rise together and cast away templates of bondage, littered with debilitating labels and brand descriptions.

Today we realize our National Heritage ensures the beneficence of human blood and birthrights. We are balancing on the shoulders of our loving Ancestors and it is of vital importance to provide ample footing for our children and progeny. As we continuously learn to love one another, embracing the truth of our blood ties to our land, sea and sky, peace and freedom flow justly to and from us. We, the True Aboriginal, Indigenous, First Nation People of this vast Allodial Estate inherited lands and waterways, are forever a Nation of keen navigators, Moors!

We are healing our hearts in order to heal our Empire. By studying our own life experiences and heritage as the basis of truth, righteous growth is assured by Natural Law.

Peace,

Brother Jamal

Composite of images of the Temple Gemiluth Chassed we located and documented in Mississippi during one of our many Journeys of Appreciation along or near the Mississippi River. While traveling through the Territory, we immediately noticed the Moorish Revival architecture as we have studied it many times before. The signage was also very impressive.
